Hidden Braces

What are hidden braces?

Designed to sit behind the teeth, rather than in front, hidden lingual braces offer a practically invisible way to straighten the teeth – largely why it’s sometimes referred to as ‘secret straightening’.

How do they work?

The brace brackets are designed to hug and contour the back – or lingual – surface of the teeth and to have a low profile to help ensure they’re as subtle as possible. The archwires are then programmed precisely for each patient to maximise tooth movement and help ensure rapid treatment.

Is it painful?

As with all straightening methods, you may experience a little discomfort. This usually disappears after the first two weeks of wearing the braces, and as you get used to them.

Who are they suitable for?

Hidden braces are suitable for all ages, and can be worn by children, teenagers, and adults alike.
